What is your experience with the NH 4000-footers: How many have you hiked, which have been your favorites, what were your biggest challenges?

24 of 48 NH 4K and 8 of 14 ME 4K peaks completed; I have been hiking since the 1970's, grew up near Sunday River hiking in the Mahoosacs (Speck, Baldpate, Whitecap), had a camp in Rangeley & hiked that area (Aziscohos, W. Kennebago, Saddleback) extensively and worked at Sugarloaf a couple seasons and summited S'Loaf, Abraham, Crockers, Bigelows. Only started on the NH 48 in 2008 when we bought a time share in bartlett and currently (3/2012) standing at dozen. Hiked every "peak" on Mount Desert Island, Harney Peak in S. Dakota, Flathead in Anchorage, Camelback in Scottsdale and a bunch of pimply things in Minnesota. Among my favorite of all is Tumbledown Mountain in Weld, ME - summited 15+ times via all routes.

What are your hiking goals?

NH 48, winter 48, NE 67, NEHH.

Do you hike all seasons?

very limited - need to add winter skills. I ski Tuckerman's every 2-3 years, but definitely want to add winter summits to my experience.

What hikes would you like to see posted?

longer, multi-peak and overnight hikes in AMC huts and other structures.

Are you interested in leading your own hikes or events?

I like everything about the Whites, but haven't had many opportunities to get out.
