Introduction

I'm a hiker looking to peak bag some of the winter 48, or just hike some 4k peaks for fun.

What is your experience with the NH 4000-footers: How many have you hiked, which have been your favorites, what were your biggest challenges?

I've hiked around 10 in winter and 20 in the other seasons. Franconia ridge is always a favorite. Owls head last January (my first official winter 4k) was a big challenge for me.

What are your hiking goals?

Have fun and very slowly do the winter 48.

Do you hike all seasons?

Yes, but I prefer winter and fall.

What hikes would you like to see posted?

Any of the presidentials.
