What is your experience with the NH 4000-footers: How many have you hiked, which have been your favorites, what were your biggest challenges?

So far, only[masked]s. My favorites have been: Moosilauke, Lafayette, and Willey. The biggest challenge would have to be hiking up Liberty two years ago with my 15 year old daughter and when I told her we were hiking Flume, she refused! So, I hiked Liberty again this summer so that I could finally climb Flume! Oh well.

What are your hiking goals?

My hiking goals are to complete the[masked]s but also to have enjoy myself while working toward that goal. Another goal is to find folks who want to come along. I do not like hiking alone! Have had two encounters with wild animals (a black bear and a bobcat) and don't wish to repeat that on solo hikes.

Do you hike all seasons?

No, sadly only summer time when I can travel. I am a teacher so have lots of time in July and August.

What hikes would you like to see posted?

Any of the less "popular" hikes such as Waumbek, Isolation, etc.

Are you interested in leading your own hikes or events?

Possibly. Although it may be a hike that I have never done!

I am a native New Englander but now live in NJ. I try to travel to New England as often as possible and, when I do, I try to get on the trails.
