What is your experience with the NH 4000-footers: How many have you hiked, which have been your favorites, what were your biggest challenges?

I'm a little over halfway there having done 26 (one on 9/11/10, 24 last year and Waumbek a couple of weeks ago). Favorite hike so far was on Columbus Day weekend of last year when I was originally just planning to do the southern three Presis, but when I got up to Eisenhower and could see Washington clearly I had to go for it. My favorite individual peak has been Moosilauke.

What are your hiking goals?

48 by 40 (I turn 40 in December of this year). If I finish early I'll go for the 67.

Do you hike all seasons?

Not really. I was able to do Waumbek but only because it's an easy and we've had a mild winter. I've done minor elevation snowshoeing, but I don't have crampons or heavy-duty boots.

What hikes would you like to see posted?

This group seems to be based on the targeted area. At some point I might like to see it expand to cover VT and ME.

Are you interested in leading your own hikes or events?
