New Saturday Beginner Ride! Lake Natoma- With Johanne

Come and join other cyclists who are either new at riding or just want to take it at an easy pace. This is a 12+ mile ride with very little hills & beautiful views of Lake Natoma.

I am Johanne Christmas, a beginner as well, come & join me on Saturday mornings for this Ride. Some of you might know me from the Friday Bike & Bible group ride.

Johanne's Contact info:

email: johannexmas.aolcom

You can come with your Road or Mountain Bike & have a great time meeting other like minded cyclists wanting to ride & get out there!

Karens Bakery is a wonderful place to relax after the ride for refreshments & socializing.

The Perfect Beginner ride.

Below is the map of the loop around the lake:

Please arrive 15 min prior to start time.  Wheels turn at 9:00AM.

As always, you must have a helmet and bring lots of water.

This ride is for you if:

· You have a road & mountain bike and in good working condition

· You are comfortable shifting and riding continuously with minimal stopping

· You can ride at 12 mph on flats for a minimum of 15 miles

· You want to spend a Saturday morning with some Awesome Cycling Sisters.

"Bicycling has done more to emancipate women than any one thing in the world. It gives her a feeling of self-reliance and independence the moment she takes her seat; and away she goes, the picture of untrammeled womanhood."

Bonnie won't be available 5/3 or 5/10 but I will be. So once Johanne emails me, maybe we can figure out what is best with her schedule. Yes, we are pretty excited to do our first event together this Sunday!
