You Want to Write

If you want to write or improve your writing, then you've come to the right place.

Pen to Paper is Indianapolis's premier authors' group for critique, workshopping ideas and networking.  Founded in 2009, Pen to Paper has been steadily growing ever since, gaining new members and expanding its events. We generally meet twice per week for critique and workshops (i.e. our weekly Write Night goof off session).

At Pen to Paper, you will get honest and thoughtful critique of your work (if you  choose to submit) and meet a fun, diverse group of writers who share your passion for the written word.

RSVP for one of our meetings and come join the fun!

Your Next Step

Get your feet wet and come to a meeting.  We are a friendly bunch and we welcome all newcomers. Once you attend a meeting, you can request access to your Yahoo! group, where you'll be able to read submissions, upload work for critique and join our lively online discussions.

Please Note: You MUST come to a meeting first, before you'll receive access to the Yahoo! group.

Also note, Many of our regular members don't RSVP for the meetings (despite the strong admonitions of the organizer).  Generally, we have a decent sized group each meeting, averaging six to eight members (often times more).  So, if you see that only one or two people RSVP'd, don't get discouraged.

Bill

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
