Have you recently sent a child off to college (or coming soon)? Are you feeling a strange void? Wondering what to do with your free time? The Peninsula Recent Empty Nesters are a group of friendly, dynamic adults who enjoy a wide variety of activities now that our kids have moved out and we have more free time. While socializing, it's easy to discuss the challenges and joys of parenting a college student and share insights learned along the way. Come celebrate or commiserate this exciting new chapter with us.
Some of our past events include: potlucks in members' homes; wine tasting and picnic in Napa; music in the park; hike to a local winery; cooking together in a member's home and private jazz concert. We encourage all members to suggest new events and guest host them.
We are currently recruiting more members, especially dad nesters to balance out the ratio of male to female members. Singles and couples are welcome. I hope to see you at an upcoming event.
