Here is a nice "Time after time" cover. This would be a fun version to do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASMmSX4-b88

Hell yeah. Talking about 80's covers done in a different way, check out this Youth Group reworking of Alphaville's forever young:

Speaking of Joy Division. I saw the wombats play this song last weekend. Very fun: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBVfD7qCQnI

I like the Wombats, man I missed that Show. The lyrics of that song illustrate the ambivalence of Joy Division... Joy Division songs that I really dig: Ceremony, Atmosphere, New Dawn Fades, Transmission. I have some covers of those posted to youtube under username rohaihuparaguay ;-)

Last time we played Ceremony, Jeremy, Alive, Losing My Religion, Plush, Creep, Blackhole Sun. Ian likely has some suggestions. Bring chords.

Ian (Fremont) is a fine singer. Wolf: please name some songs from the last jam.

Don't know about songs, I guess we just try to be democratic at the Jam and see how it goes?. I am more of a Joy Divisiion, The Cure, Smiths, Radiohead ... etc kind of guy. Maybe it is a good idea that people bring a few copies of chord charts of songs they want to play and we try suggestions from all. Only been in one of these jams before myself.

Any guidance on songs? I'm guessing nirvana will be in there somewhere. Is there a plan?

I'm in for drums if there are enough people. I'm new to this, is there a song list?
