Peninsula Macrobiotic Community (Gourmet Vegetarian Dinners) Message Board › Vegan Food Party with GAMES! Aug. 29, 12-3 PM, Pacifica
Macrobiotic foodies, you are invited to the next VFP in Pacifica, California!
What is a Vegan Food Party (VFP)? It's a community event where people bring their favorite (homemade) vegan foods to share. This is a VFP + Games, so ... in addition to bringing a homemade vegan dish to share, please bring your favorite games like Taboo, Cranium, playing cards, etc ... or if you know of fun, interactive, "improv style games" (ones where you don't even need game pieces ... like charades, would be one example) ... that's something else we can do!
This VFP will be happening at the Community Room in the library in Pacifica (104 Hilton Way, at Palmetto). The room has big windows and a beautiful view of the ocean. I can only imagine how it will look on a sunny day! Let's hope for one of those on August 29!
You can RSVP on this evite:
Or on facebook:
I hope that link works. I invited every single one of my Bay Area "friends" on facebook, whether they seem outwardly veg-friendly or not. Because you just never know when someone will be motivated to try an all-vegan meal.
So ... if you can, please help spread the word with your veg or veg-curious friends and compadres on facebook, twitter, meetup, etc ... the more the merrier! This is a great way to share with the community how delicious veg food is, and how much fun it is, too!

Various bikes and hikes or beach walks are in the works, either before or after lunch (depending on interest!). If you'd like to join the outdoorsy / exercise portion of the day, speak up when you RSVP so we can start getting the bikers with the bikers and the hikers with the hikers, etc.
*** Note that RSVPs are GREATLY APPRECIATED but not required for the VFP; the most important thing is to show up with a homemade vegan food dish to share. (And possibly a game, or game idea!) EACH person should bring a dish that provides 6 generous servings. If there are two of you, one dish providing 12 servings works great, too! Or you can be creative and bring two dishes.
Hope to see you there, would love for you to bring some macrobiotic food to the pot luck!
