Who Should Attend
The group is intended for small business owners who want to grow their business by sustaining your current customer base, gaining new customers and you are keen to increase your revenues and profits. You are willing to do something about your intention because you know something must change and:
Purpose
The purpose of this group is to educate owners about the what, why and how to utilize current web technologies and the associated business practices effectively to grow your business. The group leader is Bob Benninghofen, a senior practitioner, small business owner and business coach.
Group Emphasis
Emphasis will upon fully featured web technologies including community cultivation using social media, marketing, sales and operations related practices. Most importantly are what these will mean for your business, how to take advantage and best use of them, along with how to couple what you will learn here - taking the strategies and tactics with the technologies to allow the widest possible reach and attractions to gain new prospects for your business. This means retaining and getting new customers, while increasing your revenues. The group has a life-span of nine weeks with an investment total of $325 per member (e.g. $100/Membership, $25/Meeting). The meetings occur on Tuesdays from 7:15 am to 9:45 am.
Learning Environment
Group members are encouraged to use common business and everyday language unburdened with technology and/or geek speak; it is about the use of technology, with concentration upon the business aspects of utilization and effectiveness. This group is intended to be a safe environment for learning, with a goal of fostering education, sharing best practices and answering questions with broadest possible solutions and/or alternatives. Both reading and reference materials will be suggested to support the topics covered.
Group Practices
Summary and detailed information, knowledge and wisdom exchanged and shared in this group will be based upon the experience of the organizer, their partners and participating members. The meetings will cover ten (10) Group Outcomes and eight (8) Group intentions and will include a combination of presentations, facilitated learning and workshop exercises, always connected with a question and answer period. The meeting will make use of web based technologies using videos, audios and others, along with a specific agenda published/handed-out each meeting. Other valuable reference materials are available in the files section for member downloading.
Member Qualification
Five basic questions are asked of the potential group member, principally for use in determining how serious one is about learning, applying the learning and willingness to share with others. Members are expected to attend each of the nine scheduled meetings.
