Just a reminder, we have two meetups Sunday, back-to-back, at Coyote Point. Join us for either or both! Currently we have about 10 people coming for each.
At 12:45pm: Our first open water swim of the season...please be suited ready to go in the water at 1pm. Conditions look good: the water should be around 54 degrees, up from a few days ago. For those new to this: you might want to bring a thermos with something warm to drink afterwards, and since the showers by the beach are not warm, it's also handy to bring a large plastic jug filled with hot water to self-shower afterwards. We'll swim 20, 30, 40 minutes, depending - but you earn bragging rights even for dipping your toes!
At 2pm: We bike along the Bay Trail to Redwood Shores, a flat, easy ride, about 18 miles round-trip along the water. Some are running instead. You might want to bring running gear in case you're chilled from the swim and decide against riding.
