NORTHERN CALIFORNIA ANIMAL ADVOCACY COALITION is a membership organization of Northern California vegan-owned businesses, nonprofits, rescues, Meet Up groups, vegan and veg Groups, animal sanctuaries and individuals who choose to join forces for support, networking and to further powerful animal advocacy in Northern California.
NCAAC is the first coalition to combine all of us (businesses, nonprofits, Meet Up groups and movements) together working for animal advocacy and a plant-based diet and by doing so, we support each other with activities, speakers, business and technical expertise. Please check out and join us!
Eileen Harrington, Kamal Prasad and Linda Middlesworth are Co-Organizers working hard on your behalf to solidify this powerful coalition.
We meet quarterly all over Northern California. The first meeting was held in May at Hampton Creek Foods in San Francisco and featured Josh Tetrick, CEO of Hampton Creek Foods, Katie Cantrell of Factory Farming Awareness Coalition and Barry Horton of Sanctuary Bistro as key speakers. The second meeting was held in Sacramento and featured Colleen Holland of VegNews and San Fran and Sacramento leaders of the Farm Sanctuary Walk for Farm Animals. The third meeting was held in Petaluma at Lydia's Sunflower Cafe and featured Joyce Tischler, Founder and Executive Director of Animal Legal Defense Fund, Caroline Love of Hampton Creek Foods (and she provided HCF "Eat the Dough" samplers!:) and Rachael McDavid, Resources and Operations Manager of the Volunteer Center of Sonoma County (who provided info on free resources for nonprofits!)
Information on our fifth meeting to be held in the East Bay in May is forthcoming.
Come join us to support each other and to collaborate powerfully for the animals!!

This just in! Sports Basement has just upped their storewide discount to 20% "until it starts snowing" due to the warm winter and they need to move inventory. So that means you will have all day before and an hour after our NCAAC meeting to take advantage of this. This supports the NCAAC and SCCAA since they offer our meeting room for free, just to get you in the store! See you Sunday!
