This isn't permaculture but it is of interest. "Living Ecology and Earth Day"

On April the 22ND the Temple Of The Feminine Divine is hosting an Earth Day event with noted presenters speaking on climate change and what to expect here in our home state of Maine. Topics will include but not be limited to sea level change, impacts on local animals and birds, the changes already being seen by maple syrup tappers and the maple industry and bird migrations. Ecology and the environment is vitally important to hikers and outdoors people. I'm going to hear and learn, I hope a lot of you will join me. They are also showing a fun mini video" how wolves change rivers"

There is a fee for this event to cover renting the space and other costs of $5.00 per person.

I'm a member of the temple and I'll def. be there. Last I heard, some of the priests and priestesses are making "seed bombs" from Starhawk's permaculture-heavy book, "Earth Path." Permies represent! :)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
