May to Oct 2013 @ Resilient Roots Permaculture Farm and Education Site

Learn the skills necessary to put permaculture principles and designs into practice here in Maine with hands-on training facilitated by Permaculture Designer David Homa (Post Carbon Designs and Resilient Roots).

This six-month intensive (one Saturday per month plus 12 additional hours) will build on your knowledge and skills from previous permaculture classes/courses. Students will put design into practice, concentrating on building soil, capturing water, generating energy, growing and storing food, reading the landscape, on-the-fly problem solving, and building regenerative ecosystems.

Experiential learning will connect skills with permaculture core principles such as zones & sectors, explore seasonal iterations of a permaculture design in practice, and ultimately build confidence with implementing and installing permaculture designs.
