Sorry for failing to materialize last night. Am particularly ashamed as the book I nominated was discussed. Had horrible bug. It wasn?t pretty.

Definitely a five-star discussion - enjoyable engaging debate about both the books.

Darn it, my email filters caused me to miss this meetup. Did I mention that I need a PA? Sorry...

Maybe we should get voting on the next books out of the way first up tonight?

I'm finding it a bit hard to obtain a copy, is yours still available Ian?

I got both books as e-books from amazon.com (Kindle Store, Asia & Pacific region) - NZ$10.12 for Dunces (US$7.92), NZ$9.39 for Alchemist (US$7.34).

I like Kindle too, but could only find the Dunces on it (not the Alchemist). We will need to compare notes on best places to find e-books!

Thanks Ian, I read mine on Kindle, new experience, I can recommend the e-reader. Just started reading the "Dunces".

Just to let everyone know, I have updated the reading list with a few new titles, it is now kept in 'Pages' section.
