People House is a center for personal and spiritual growth. We provide and host trainings, discussion groups, art shows, and workshops. Our mission is “To provide opportunities for personal and spiritual growth in a safe supportive community.” We are a community that promotes and seeks diversity in thinking, culture, belief systems, ethnicity, and any way we can that gives us greater access to Human Being. We invite people who are interested in experiencing a more purposeful and fulfilled life through inquiry to join any of our offerings.
Within our community we aspire to listen in a uniquely unbiased manner, as taught in Facilitator Training, that allows us to hear the speakers’ truth without our own judgments and experiences interfering. We learn to stay present with just what is said and accept it as the speaker’s truth, no matter how it compares to ours. We aspire to always speak from our own experience and refrain from telling others what their truth should be.
