Come volunteer at our new office downtown

Are you free today? How about tomorrow? Would you like to make a huge change in our state and maybe even in our world?

If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, I would strongly urge you to come on down to our office located in Downtown Orlando (if you are able of course) and come lend a hand. We have a variety of projects that we need assistance with that although very easy to do are just time consuming. There is always work to be done; things like: phone banking volunteers, processing petitions, data entry and helping plan our events are some examples. Maybe you just want to come hang out and meet some of the other people making this happen, that's fine too! Bring your friends too if they want to help.

We are coming up on crunch time with our petitions being due on New Year's Eve. Sick Floridians need all the help they can get! How can you help? We can achieve our goal of gathering all the petitions we need, but we can't do it without you. There are a multitude of events coming up for the month of December that we need volunteers to come out for. Keep a lookout on your e-mails for updates. You can check out our calendar (http://ow.ly/pxRRT) for a broader view. The calendar is continually being updated so check it often.

Our office hours are officially Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. but if you have some time outside of that that you could help out please call Oscar [masked]) and let him know. He is usually there working late, when he is not at an event. If there is a day he won't be here, expect the meetup for that specific day to change.

Just to sweeten the deal, we do have coffee here for you. If you come out for the whole day, Oscar will feed you. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call or e-mail him ([masked]).

Have you already signed and/or mailed your petition in? If not, go to www.unitedforcare.org/petition to download, print, sign, and mail your petition.

We are counting you!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
