Please list three favorite works of literature:

Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss

Do you have a favorite literary time or movement? If so, what?

I love anything sci-fi or fantasy, so I'm loving the present genre-exploding movement towards incorporating elements of sci-fi into otherwise realistic books. The sci-fi chapters at the end of A Visit from the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan were my favorite part of the book. :)

Do you have a favorite or go-to style of literary criticism? If so, what?

What was the last book that you thoroughly enjoyed?

I read all over the map - I love historical fiction, big epic fantasy, sci-fi stories set in other worlds, Swedish noir...

Hi! I'm a recent "half-transplant" to Seattle - my boyfriend and I travel back and forth between Seattle and San Francisco every week. I didn't major in English, but I'm a huge book geek. So far my favorite place in Seattle is the library!
