Hey there, Peoria Readers, welcome to our book club. Come on in, grab a cup of coffee and have a seat. We are hear to explore great books, have fun discussions and meet new friends.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: When do you meet?
A: First monday of the month at 7.
Q: Can I come occasionally?
A: Yes! You aren't expected to come every month. It's nice if you can, but if you only are able to come occasionally, that's fine too.
Q: How do you choose the books?
A: We met in January to choose the next 8 books. We will likely have another party/meeting in the summer to choose books for next fall and winter.
Q: Any criteria for the books?
A: We mostly read recent fiction. We'd like the books to be available in paperback, so no brand new hardbacks.
Q: Where can I get the books we read?
A: We will be preordering books through I Know You Like a Book, the place we meet, so that if you come one month, you can pick up the book for next month that night.
Q: Do I have to buy through I Know You Like a Book?
A: Not at all. I'll ask when you RSVP whether you want to get your copy from IKYLaB, but please feel free to get the book from whatever source you like.
