Go for an easy beginner ride

You are invited to join our Saturday morning beginner group ride starting from, and ending at, our Roswell Performance Bicycle store.  The ride is for beginners and those getting back on the saddle.  The average pace will be between 10 and 14 miles per hour and the ride will last approximately one hour.  We will explore some of the local bike paths available to you and experience some residential riding as well.  The ride leaves the store every Saturday morning at 9:00 am and is a "No Rider Left Behind" ride.  Come out and join our ride leaders for some fun outdoors!

Things to Bring:  Helmet, water bottle, spare inner tube, positive attitude.

This is a group ride for folks with what experience level? I am not a novice, but not intermediate yet.

Beginner level. Under 12 miles about 400ft of climbing. Ride stops at several points along route to regroup. If you have a mechanical or flat someone who knows the route will stay with you. Very friendly group. You'll love it.

So I went this morning, weather was OK (rain held off) and the roads were acceptable. Group ride consisted of three people. I wasn't in the best place physically, but I'm super-glad I did. Thanks, next week is gonna rock.

According to the weather Sunday the 27th it is supposed to be 57 in the morning to 77 in the afternoon and sunny. Looks like race weather to me! There will also be a criterium race in downtown Roswell with vendors.

I just did the 23 mile Mayor's ride last Sunday as a test. Very, very Hilly on the end of the loop at the river and of course the 4 mile ride uphill from the river. Be prepared to be exhausted.

Sweet, if the weather are sunny road bikes. If the weather is rainy mtn. This ride has quite a few climbs on this route. Roswell bike does a traning ride on Thursday of this exact route and the 22 miler route is a great ride. My wife and I will be there, hope to see you there!

Looks like bad weather tomorrow morning, so I am going to pass on the ride this week. Have fun everyone, and I'll see you next time.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
