Design and Dig Earthworks

Hands on workshop!  Design and dig Hugelkultur swales and berms.  Learn about the soil food web.  Transform an underutilized sloped area into a water saving productive habitat for plants and wildlife. 

Bring your boots and gloves if you want to participate.  Bring your camera if you want to just watch and document the transformation.

Potluck Pow Wow afterwards, starts at 6pm (see separate event on our calendar).

$20 suggested donation for class materials, instruction and pow wow afterwards.

RSVP required to hold your spot.  10 participants max.

Wanda Knapik is hosting the workshop with permaculture designer and horticulturalist Mark Gonzales. Mark has 20+ years experience in professional landscape construction and ecological site restoration.
