This Meetup group has never been very active from the standpoint of community initiative, and has instead had events and meetings coordinated and organized by members of The Alchemical Nursery here in Syracuse.  Please, we whole-heartedly encourage you to use this Meetup site to organize and plan events on your own still.

However, as this is an extra task for planning and organizing, we at The Alchemical Nursery have not been actively promoting or using the site, and instead relying on our own internal resources/websites/etc.  Know that if you join this site, events may or may not be posted that are happening in the community (we try but don't always get around to posting all the small happenings).

Since we stopped actively and regularly supporting this Meetup page well over a year ago, we now refer folks to a few different resources for building our Permaculture community:

• The second being our website at www.alchemicalnursery.org, where if you register you will be included in our monthly e-newsletters.

This group is an open collective volunteer work share and educational exchange with a mission to facilitate a Permaculture and Homesteading culture in Urban Syracuse and surrounding peri-urban and rural communities.

Envision discussion,

work parties,

skill shares,

social events,

and work parties at Permaculture and urban homestead sites for hands-on experiences.

Possible topics include regenerative agriculture, food preservation, landscape design, natural building, potluck meals, organizing educational events for the larger Syracuse community; or whatever you as a member would like to share and learn together with as a group.
