How to install your FALL GARDEN! 10AM

Come see how to get a garden ready for fall planting.  This will include Hügelkultur and Fruit Tree Guilds.  There are some very important plants to plant with trees to put them in their preferred ecosystem.  We design this system to help them grow faster and produce more fruit (or wood).  Hügelkultur can be done a bunch of ways, but what we do comes from years of experimentation in our area with our soil types.  We'll discuss pit gardens and banana tree circles.

We'll be in the shade until the afternoon.  Be sure to bring hats, shovels, gloves and lots to drink.  We're going to have a Potluck lunch in the clubhouse, so bring your favorite dish. We'll have Hummus, Tabbouleh, chips, olives and filtered water already there.

Also, there's a pool (with a shower), so bring your swim suits!

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

The mailboxes are just after the first set if buildings on the right as you enter the gates. Building 14 is the next building after that.

I live in Southside near Avenues mall area. Do you know of any group that do organic gardening in Southside/Mandarin area. Or do you ever have meetup's in that area?

    Hi all gardeners,
The gate code at Casa Bella is 0000 and tell the leasing agent that you are a Permaculture gardener then she will buzz you in the complex.
Please park by the mail boxes on your right or across by the pool. The garden is behind building # 14. You can walk up past the mail boxes and that is where we will meet by the Aluminun plant, a house plant grown out of control in the wild. i have permission to use a hose just to set up the garden. Look forward to seeing you all Saturday at 10 am. Thanks

I will be. I like working in the rain in the summer. Bring bathing suits. There's a pool too!

How late will y'all be working? I have some plans that morning but can do in the early afternoon.

It's hard to say. Workshops usually go until at least 2PM. Sometimes longer.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
