Wonderful learning experience! I want to thank everyone for sharing the delicious food and your gardening / permie experiences. I am a hands on learner and walked away with a lot more knowledge than what I came with.

This is the group I've always hoped could happen. Everyone pitched in and made someone's life a bit richer. In turn, all of our lives are richer. Good food, great plant exchange, beautiful children, beautiful people. Let's keep this up and make it a virus! Here's looking forward to the very next time we can all possibly meet. Now I'm getting mushy!

I noticed that the red dot on the map is off by a half mile or so - it is the right general neighborhood and right street address (3503 Newcastle Creek Drive), but the dot will not get you there. Here is a better map:

One of the things that Jonathan is doing at his homestead is Terraced Gardening. So I was thinking that we should all try to watch these videos before the meetup. It's a three part series about Sepp Holser who is the king of terraced gardening (what is also known as Hügelkultur). This guy can grow oranges in the Austrian Alps! What do you say for a potluck? Bring your favorite recipe. Try to include something that you grew in your own garden. I think I'll bring my Raw Vegan Pesto.

I can host it at my place - I have a half acre that is transitioning to permaculture, a fair amount to show, still looking for ideas.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
