Operation Greenfire Fundraising Kickoff!

C4Collective are beyond excited to be hosting our first C4SociALL event in our local music community at 1904 Music Hall on July 10th. This will be a night of Music, Fashion, Art, and Dance featuring Herd Of Watts and a fashion show made of all upcycled material by Jamila Designs. It will also be a night of Art featuring Cory Ponz and Brian Bernard and spoken word poetry. Entry is on a sliding scale from $5-15. That is $5 to get in with an additional suggested $5-10 donation. The main intention of this event is to raise funds to install a string of 5 permaculture gardens in the local communities. We are calling this initiative Operation Greenfire. Operation Greenfire is a direct-action initiative of C4Collective. Using the ethics and principles of Permaculture, the action plan is to install a string of 5 ecologically designed gardens at private residences in the low-income areas of Jacksonville. We will then use these 5 residential gardens as educational examples to spread the knowledge of growing your own food, gardening, and permaculture. We will continue to have a fund solely dedicated to installing these ecological gardens. Event Schedule:

8- Doors
9 - Opening the Space, Welcoming & free Kombucha sampling
9:30 - Spoken Word Poetry w/ Eric JaMaal & Jamila ...
10 - Return the Surpus Fashion Show! Fully Upcycled clothing designs by Jamila
10:30 - HERD of WATTS
11:30 - CommUNITY Jam

There will be raffles, trans-in-formation stations, free kombucha samples, and other activities. We welcome the entire Jax community to come celebrate with us as we work from the soil up!
