Natural Building Techniques: Learn to Formulate COB

  • Nov 24, 2012 · 10:00 AM
  • This location is shown only to members

We will learn to formulate perfect COB (made from clay, sand and straw) for use as a natural building material. We will learn how to store unused cob for the next project. You will receive a handout explaining everything that we will do during this class.

We will be refurbishing a COB bread oven of a member of the group.

Cook your food without using any electricity or gas. Cook your food on days when the power is out. Cook your food with the wood that falls out of your trees. No more chopping trees down! One more step closer to self-sufficiency.

If you are an artist, COB allows you to really go wild and make things that are both beautiful and useful!

Cost of the class is $25 per person accepted at the location. For more information, please contact us at: alex [at] homesteadgear [dot] com

Would it be okay if I brought my son? Soon 7, and very well behaved.
