Rethinking personal data: From collection to usage

From: Matt H.

PDNYC community,

I wanted to share a recently published article by one of last month's PDNYC speakers and panelists, Carl Kalapesi. Carl has been hard at work consulting the World Economic Forum on their personal data initiative, and was the lead writer on the 2nd installment of the Rethinking personal data series.

Please find the newly published report at the following link:

http://www3.weforum.org/docs/WEF_IT_UnlockingValuePersonalData_CollectionUsage_Report_2013.pdf

Separately, we are in the process of organizing the March PDNYC meetup, which is likely to be hosted in the same space at wework labs on the 8th floor. Please expect an announcement in the next couple weeks.

All the best,

Organizers
