As I briefly mentioned this morning, the National Digital Health Strategy – Your Health, Your Say is surveying consumers and health professionals on the way forward with digital health. There is a survey, as well as consultation in Perth on 24 November: https://conversation.digitalhealth.gov.au

Right up my alley. WCAG offers a way in which I could potentially learn a lot about subject that I've been interested in for a long time but which I've never previously felt I've had good, reliable ways in which to investigate further or learn more about. It also offers a way in which those interested in accessibility and inclusive design can communicate with each other on a face-to-face basis to share their experiences and knowledge, and, as much as I love using the internet as a tool to learn more about my interests, I've felt that, unfortunately, relying wholly on the internet for sharing experiences doesn't quite measure up against face-to-face communication, even when the subject is related to the internet itself. Accessibility and inclusive design, too, unfortunately, isn't a subject all that interesting to most people around a dinner table and the likes, so, it's fantastic to access to a group of people that actually share it as an interest.

Great sharing by Scott and Vivienne. They also updated the group on the efforts to bring the W3C and W4A conference to Perth in 2017!

Very worth while - discussion based, very informal. I wonder if the discussions here could feedback to a more formal group to address the issues. Having said that the group currently has some key policy influencers.
