Be a part of the Great Shelters Project debuting Sept. 10, 2011 at the Great Shelters 1 Day Conference in Cincinnati, OH. The Great Shelters Project will be a National Internet Program bringing awareness and education to every community in the USA about the current status of their Homeless Animal situation and how to save more Shelter Animals' lives with a proven formula of programs that progressive county shelters are currently using to save more animals.
The successful life-saving formula of programs are from Nathan Winograd with the No Kill Advocacy Center. Nathan is in the forefront of the No Kill Movement in the United States and has successfully helped progressive communities to save over 90% of the Shelter Animals in those communities.
EVERY community can have the same success! Great Shelters will help share that message with the nation, while bringing the tools to the public to help them assist or insist that their county shelter embrace these life saving programs.
The Great Shelters Project NEEDS your help to meet our timeline for having the Internet database completed and the conference a success.
You do NOT have to be in the Cincinnati, OH area to help with this project. We need data collectors in all 3,144 counties in the United States. Your contributing your area's data will be a HUGE help and enable the project to be a success, which will equate to more shelter animals saved.
Benefits for you: Have a part in saving more shelter animals simply by helping us collect information. Information empowers people to create the needed change. Meet other Animal Advocates who are interested in networking together to benefit Shelter Animals. This Group will help us build Alliances for the animals and in the process connect with like-minded people who want to make a difference for the animals.
