These message boards are a goldmine of opportunity. Perform a couple of the following suggestions daily, and you will begin getting tons of business from this group.

• Reply to postings (called "Threads") that have been started by others, in order to get to know other members of the group better. When you respond to others you are conversing and having a conversation. Ummm. I think that's called networking! And you don't have to go anywhere or pay anything to do it.
  
• Give and receive referrals. If you start passing referrals around whenever the opportunity arises, especially publicly on the message board, something magic will happen. Others will start sending YOU referrals. Woudn't that be awesome to start getting all these warm referrals? (you don't have to provide all the referrals info publicly, just perhaps say, "Hey Joe, I have a refferal for you....")
  
• Promote your business/services. If we are all using and reading these boards, then what better FREE way can you get info about your product/service, in front of others. This is a business board. Spam away!!!
  
• Make announcements that you want people to know about. If you are willing to pay money to promote your event, or put up posters, etc. doesn't it make sense to post it here?
  
• At the meetings we love to get up and talk about ourselves, or tell others about us in conversation. But people still forget sometimes when you're talking to so many people. Making regular posts about yourself helps us all get to know you so much better. Even people you haven't met yet can seem like old friends when you finally meet, if you've been talking online.
  
• Provide or ask for advice. What better way to demonstrate your skills then to offer professional advice online? Or if you have a questions, ask here to get some answers. This can become a very valuable resource and wealth of information.

If you don't start using these boards, you are throwing away money!!!.

The meetings are so energizing.
I've been able to pass along three referrals
PLUS found three new possible members. I hope they come out as guests soon so I can save money with a FREE meeting (bring two guests - one at a time or together and Karri waives the $10 fee for you)

I also got Reg to quote on business cards for me and he was more economical than my Toronto printer (who had beat all the prices of the standard printers in Peterborough I got to quote on my flyer before I joined PBN)
He'll be getting my order shortly. THANKS REG!

I also found at the last networking meeting that so many were receptive to Moppets and knew of someone to refer my brochure to. I hope to see them out soon at a session and I HOPE they'll tell me who from PBN let them know of Moppets too (I usually ask how they heard of Moppets anyway)
