I am starting this book club to read and discuss non-fiction history books on various topics (ancient, medieval, Victorian, 20th century), and fiction from or about many eras from the Dark Ages to the 20th century, from all over the world.

The purpose of the book club is to read the books, but most importantly to get together, and enjoy lively conversation with people who have similar interests.

  “Fine idea, I think. I don't know much about Pflugerville's "olden days". Mostly I enjoy escaping into the old classic mysteries: Holmes, Poirot, etc. But, I'm open.”
