The 4th Chick Lit Book Club Literary Tea

Our literary tea is now featuring Jennifer Vessells, a new chick lit author!  She will be speaking at the tea as well as selling her new book "Life in Plan B" for only $10 a copy.  (cash only please).  She is a local Ohio author who went from being a successful lawyer to a chick lit author.  Want to know how?  Come to our awesome event and find out!

Like her on Facebook at:

Don't forget there will also be a used book sale and a great chinese auction so bring some cash.

The auction could still use a few table decorators.

Contact Kristy DeCola at [masked] if interested.

If anyone is interested in donating a themed basket or other goods for the Chinese Auction please contact Lindsey Bricker at[masked] or [masked].

Please RSVP to our Literary Tea if you would like to attend.  Tickets are $25.00.  Please email me at [masked] for a registration form.

The event will be held this year at Trax Farms and guests will enjoy “Nursery Rhymes” themed tables, Prestogeorge loose leaf tea, coffee, luncheon food, auctions and raffles as well as a speaker with all net proceeds to the GPLC.

Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council (GPLC) helps adults and families in our region acquire reading, writing, math, English language, workforce skills, and computer skills so they may reach their fullest potential in life and participate productively in their community. Each year we reach more than 6,000 individuals, helping them to create a better life for themselves and their families.

GPLC will receive 100%of the net proceeds from the Pittsburgh Chick-Lit Book Club Literary Tea. Your gift will make possible recruitment and training of volunteer tutors, classroom instruction, and materials purchases. Most importantly, your generosity will enable men and women to get better jobs, become more involved in their community and inspire their children to succeed.

Our last 3 literary teas were a great success. In total we have raised over $10,000 thanks to your donations. We can’t wait to see how much we can raise at this year’s event!

I may have more people attending, I just haven't asked the others I wanted to yet. I have 6 guests total, but the counter won't allow that, I'm working to try to fill my table.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
