Robinson Book Club - The Beach Trees - Karen White

Hello Everyone:  We decided to change locations and try some restaurants out in Robinson.   Come meet us at BAHAMA BREEZE.  Apparently, the Stone Pepper Grill is now closed.  We can discuss the Beach Trees at a Beach-Themed restaurant?

I had trouble uploading the book picture, so here is a link to the Amazon page:

ABOUT BEACH TREES:   From the time she was twelve, Julie Holt knew what a random tragedy can do to a family. At that tender age, her little sister disappeared-never to be found. It was a loss that slowly eroded the family bonds she once relied on. As an adult with a prestigious job in the arts, Julie meets a struggling artist who reminds her so much of her sister, she can't help feeling protective. It is a friendship that begins a long and painful process of healing for Julie, leading her to a house on the Gulf Coast, ravaged by hurricane Katrina, and to stories of family that take her deep into the past.

BTW: If you like to read ahead, the October book will be "My Fair Lazy" - By Jen Lancaster.

I have this date on my calendar and was finally able to RSVP. I will be starting to read this book tomorrow. Thanks for getting my dues marked paid, Susan. Will be checking back to see where we will actually be meeting since Stone Pepper's has gone out of business after filing for Chapter 11.
