I don't distinguish the digital pharma from the rest.
No. The web has just begun. But I do not believe it will render print and other media extinct. There will always be a demand for the tactile satisfaction of holding a printed piece, including books, magazines, and newspapers. A handshake can be simulated on a computer screen in the same way that a signature of initials can substitute for a handwritten one, but the image of two hands clasping will never replace the handshake, unless we all lose feeling in our hands through some unforeseen neurological contagion. We need more authenticity in life, not less...toward this end, I would like to increase the number of media, not limit and marginalize them.
