Huepa … mes amis, fellow salseros & saleseras, internationals, etc. I am pleased to announce that Lucha Cartel is once again offering their Salsa Nights on Tuesday evenings. This means the return of the Luchadore Cocktail Hour/Dance parties I used to do for the meetup groups I serve as an Asst. organizer. With the best salsa, bachata, cha-cha and meringue tunes played by DJ Spanky, it is a great night out. So come on out and relax in a low key ambiance among excellent food and weekly specials at reasonable prices. It is a wonderful way to relax on a Tuesday evening. Conveniently located on 2nd block of Chestnut, this venue is SEPTA friendly. You can take the #21 or #42 bus down Walnut and literally get dropped off right across the street. You can also take the Market-Frankford Line down to 2nd and Market, walk down to corner of second and Chestnut, hang a right and keep walking and you will see the restaurant’s lovely deck for outdoor seating. From 5:30 till 8:30 p.m. we will be chilling by the bar. THE FREE LESSON IS FROM 8:30 TO 9 P.M. After that you can stick around, practice what you learned, or chill among the luchadore décor. See if you’re brave enough to make it through sampling the three different flavors of tequila or keep it low key and keep knocking back wonderful home-made Sangria. I leave it your discretion. Look forward to seeing you on the 11th.
