Nice to see you all! I really enjoyed playing the Barsanti with Tom - thanks!

Thank you all for a fun afternoon. We played a Haydn piano trio, arias by Bellini and Handel, and a sonata for two flutes also by Handel, among other pieces. We also had great conversation and a very nice Malbec.

My schedule changed unexpectedly. I can attend after all. Would a flutist and cellist be interested in a Haydn trio for flute, piano, cello. I have lots of flute duo music and trio sonatas.

      Yes, I'm definitely interested. (flute)

I'm not sure how the cellists will be organizing. I'm sure one of us will be available.

I am thinking of coming, hoping to read some of the simpler repertoire. Pleyel or Mazas or Handel (arr) or Bartok with another violin, or the Barsanti duets for high and low voice I have just discovered. Any extra cellist to look at some beautiful, not dreadfully difficult, works?

    Hi Everyone,
I would like to find an instrumentalist who is new to chamber music. I am an amateur pianist and would like to spend some time working on a short piece together and to play for our group. If your interested let me know.

I'm going to bring the Mozart piano trios. I've been working on the piano part for K. 548 in C Major and would love to give that a try with violin and cello. Hey, it's in C Major! How hard can it be?

I'll work on it. If other cellist wish, maybe we can divide it up like last time.

For Cellists: I attended this workshop at Bryn Mawr college last year, great fun. The public concert on the last Friday of the ensemble workshop is a hoot!

Hello Cello Friends! The music director at the church in Lansdowne is still looking for a cellist to play in a chamber group with the choir for an evening. I volunteered to play the flute part, so I'm hoping there will be a cellist to complete the group. The piece also has horn, oboe, and piano. The director said the tempos are all slow to moderate, and there are only a few places with a few 16th notes, so he doesn't think it is really technically difficult. I'm sure he would get the part to you right away if you were willing. The piece will be played the evening of April 16th, with one rehearsal the evening before. Please let me know if you will consider playing with us, and I will connect you to the director! Thanks!!!
