Renaissance Singers, Romantic Harpist, and a Contemporary Percussionist!

LOCALARTSLIVE MUSIC SHOWCASE: World class Renaissance ensemble --Laughing Bird; followed by a most lovely artist, Elizabeth Ellis, harpist, and one of the most original and talented percussionists, Adam Vidikis will create one of the most memorable musical evenings you've ever had. I've heard all of these artists before and they are FANTASTIC. This unique evening of music and visual presentations will be held in the intimate Parish Hall at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church of Chestnut Hill. Stay for a friendly wine reception where you can meet the musicians. Doors open at 7pm. I know this is short notice -- but it will be informal and fun!

Tickets $25 regular / $15 student at the door. Discount tickets must be purchased in advance.

These were top notch virtuoso musicians and very interesting innovations on the harp. I was very glad I went.

It was good, the singers were excellent. I wanted to hear more classical music from the harp.

    Hi Connie,
The location of the concert is right between the last stations of both the Chestnut Hill East and Chestnut Hill West SEPTA rail lines. It's also right next to a major bus depot. Yes, it's VERY convenient to get there via public transportation, but if you have any questions, please let me know. - Sharon

Hi Everyone, I would love to attend this Meetup, however I am wondering if the location is near public transportation. Does anyone know if this is near a train station as I would be coming from Center City.

I'm presenting this concert so I'm biased, but I completely concur with Steve. This will be a very unique evening. Ticket prices go up at the door, so it's advised to buy in advance to skip the line and save a few $s

This is right behind where I live! There are a number of good restaurants in Chestnut Hill (Chinese, Japanese, American, etc) within 5 minutes of the concert. Anyone want to join me for dinner at 5:30 on January 24?
