This Sunday, March 3, at 4pm Philly DSA is having the next installment of its fall FALL-Winter READING GROUP. At this week's session we will be discussing the difficulties of organizing workers in the age of flexible labor through a reading by Charles Heckscher entitled “Living With Flexibility.” The piece makes some controversial claims about the viability of traditional union models in the future, and should spark some interesting discussion. Unlike most of our readings, this piece is a bit long, but please feel free to come even if you haven't read or if you can only manage to read part of the article, as you can still participate in the discussion.

This session, and all future reading group sessions will be held at 1435 South Juniper Street in South Philly at 4pm (usually every other sunday). Easily accessible by public transit (broad street line to tasker-morris, walk north two blocks, take a right on dickinson, then second left on Juniper: house is on the right).
Following the reading group we will go out for drinks at a nearby bar or coffee shop to have some DSA socializing time.
WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!
