This Meetup event is for photographers of all levels who are interested in learning about night photography and practicing new techniques for capturing low-light landscapes on the Delaware River waterfront.  join us at 6pm sharp at Chestnut st and South Front st. on the bridge, it is the eastern most point on Chestnut for an amazing night on the water with a professional photography instructor.  You will use the bridge, water and scenic views to create professional-quality landscape photographs of your city! You can expect to walk away with unforgettable sunset images and an understanding of how to capture beautiful nighttime scenes just as they appear to the eye. You will also learn cool tricks for capturing moving lights with a low shutter speed to create a light pattern effect in your photos. Your instructor will teach you how to adjust your manual settings and use the proper lighting techniques to capture starry night skies and fun evening photos while out with your friends! You will need a DSLR camera and tripod for this event.  You can expect to learn a lot, walk away with great photos, have a ton of fun and meet some fellow Philadelphians who love photography!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
