What do you hope to get out of the group?

I like to learn from other people about electronics and control systems. After fixing Robots for 10 years I want to start designing them.

Would you be interested in giving an informal presentation or demo or leading a topic discussion?

I would be enthusiastic about sharing my expertise in image analysis, high voltage system design, power control, matlab software. I college I worked on high resolution microscope design to image mitochondria.

What skills do you bring to the group?

I have a degree in Bio Medical engineering from Rutgers. I have 10 plus years of field experience servicing CT and MRI machines in the field. These machines are on the fore front of design and material science. The power and precision considered in the design of a CT or MRI machine can be appreciated by any engineer or science enthusiast. I have access to warehouses full of decommissioned ct and MRI machines that we could use to get scr, transistors, sensors, motors, motor controllers, and more from. The companies equipment I service are Toshiba, Siemens, GE, Hitachi, and Philips

What types of robot projects (or discussions) are you working on or interested in?

I have an open mind. Currently I'm focused on general field service of the X ray systems and rf system of the machines in the field.

My name is Matt Morgan. I service CT and MRI machines in NJ,NY and PA. I have a Bio Medical Engineering Degree from Rutgers. I like electronics and software. I'm from Haddonfield. Went to Rutgers Undergraduate. I work for Sigma Imaging Technologies.
