Perhaps to reignite a passion that I had when back in school and as a member of the ACM.
I would, were I to have the knowledge to. It as been a while. But I love to learn and to share what I have learned.
I am good with PC computer hardware and am not afraid to tinker with just about anything.
Remote presence and telemonitoring for purposes of security and surveillance are of interest to me. Programming to react to different stimuli and the use of logic to effectively deal with situations independently is also just plain fun.
Someone at the Ben Franklin Thinking Society mentioned this group to me and it seems to be hands-on and a lot of fun. I had worked with robotics some time ago in school as a member of the ACM. Coupling robotics with remote access really interests me.
Come to meet people with knowledge that I haven't seen since ACM meetings at the University.
