** Job Posting ** - Philly Robotics

Mike from ModSolar will be at this Thursday's Robotics Meetup. He has an opportunity for someone with multi-rotor robotics experience. See below for details. Contact Mike if you have any questions, or come to the Meetup and ask him in person.

Have you been working on robotics for years, and been amazed at how falling prices are sparking interest from a wide variety of places?  Do you believe that robotics and automation can do as much for society as green energy?  If so, ModSolar has the perfect opportunity for you.
ModSolar is a solar-software company, specializing in making the entire process of installing a solar system easier.  While we currently do this through software, we have an application of our software that would work great with robotics.  We have tested this concept with several of our clients, some of the largest companies in the US solar industry, and we have early interest.  Now we just need someone to build it!
If you have experience with multi-rotor remote-piloted, semi-autonomous, or autonomous craft, and have built them from scratch or using kits, (where you augmented the kits for specific purposes), then we want to talk to you. You will need a passion for the space, both hardware and software skills (software skills needed are for the control systems of the craft only), and be a tenacious problem solver.  Our goal is to get to a proof of concept within a short timespan, and build the product to its full vision over the next 12 months.
We're open to any type of arrangement depending on your needs, including moonlighting, contract work, part time or full time.  Serious hobbyists looking to make this a career are ok.  We're looking for a smart person with knowledge of the space, but who is good at solving problems.
Please contact [address removed] if you're interested, and ModSolar will be presenting at the Philly Robotics meetup on Thursday, October 17th - so come by and say hi - to your future!
