I went on Saturday. I entered the costume parade as an Independent Female Ferengi (Quark's Aunt and Moogi's younger sister). I've got tons of pictures so e-mail me at [masked] and I will send you the link to the pictures I took today.

I had a good time was there at ten took a few pictures talked to a few klingons I met a fellow vet he was a vendor and I got some good discounts on a phaser and Dr McCoys medicl Kit and i left about 12 noon.I bought about 16 items .And what is Wizard World is it a comic thing or a star trek thing? And if anyone can answer this trivia question you will receive a un signed picture of Cpt.Sisko,When is the first time Cpt Kirk said his full name?

  The Wizard World is more in the "Comic Con" mode, lots of other fringe media stuff there as well as scifi/fantasy. I went last year, the dealer's room is massive, a lot more on-the-spot, pay-as-you-go autograph opportunities but a lot is comics-based. A lot more people, so a lot more in costumes. If you're into comics, there are usually many artists there as well. Last year had "The Captains," all 5 ST captains on the same stage, and that was an absolute blast. Among many others, Shatner will be at this year's. I'll probably go, but more because my 13-year and friends had a great time last year. You know how new geeks are...

I'm hoping to get there at 10 too (unless I wind up sleeping in after this week). My Klingon ceremonial robe is at the dry cleaners, so I'll just look like a tall nerd, sorta like the picture to the left here...

I haven't been to a Con in a VERY long time. May I seek guidance from the regulars...Is the $25 single day general admission good enough...or is $40 single day preferred ticket worth the extra $15 to sit closer? I'm not interested in autographs.
