Join us for open house celebrating William Penn's signing of the charter for Pennsylvania. Bring your friends!

The day will feature a variety of eighteenth century demonstrations and hands-on activities.  Visitors can watch volunteers cook an eighteenth century meal over the hearth while they tour the Boone House and learn about the different families who lived in the house.  Volunteers will also be demonstrating blacksmithing, gun building, textile processing, and much more.  Visitors can dip candles, try their hand at quill pen writing, and dance with the Amity Colonial Dancers in the Wayside Lodge.

And new this year, the Craft Festival will feature local vendors and their hand-made items & gifts.  Participating vendors include: Beverly Stevens & Oley Valley Primitives Anthony Danna & Woodland Crafts Jo Griffith & Take 2 Alpacas The Alpaca Cottage  Ken Handwerk & Handwerk Tin   

The event is FREE! Event runs until 4pm. Stay as little or long as you'd like. This will be a nice way to beat the winter blues & learn about our Pennsylvania history and culture. Hope to see you there :)
