Our Saturday hike was lightly attended due to weather conditions, but two awesome hikers, Terry and Carol, from Philadelphia Trail Club and IHB joined me for a 9 1/2 mile slippery, rainsoaked trek through Pa. State Game Lands, HorseShoe Trail and Natural Land's Trust Crow's Nest. It was so good we felt sorry for all the folks who stayed home. There was a light rain for most of the hike, with some real downpour for the last three miles but my partners were just awesome, developing a scoring system for rating recoveries from falls and near falls. I think Terry won first honors for a particularly graceful recovery at about the nine mile mark. I have to apologize for any communications difficulties. There is virtually NO phone service in the St. Peter's Village area so any attempts to communicate with me prior to or during the hike went unreceived and unanswered. Bottom Line, we had a blast.

It's 6:30 a.m. and that's why I changed my RSVP to no. Usually at PTC every weekend as avid day hiker on weekends.

Yes, that parking lot is across the street from the Inn. The Bakery/Cafe is also nearby. You can't miss Larry!

Hi Folks; My GPS is telling me the address is 3471 St. Peters Rd, Elverson, Pa. From rt 100 and rt 23 go about 3.5 mi west on rt 23 to a RIGHT on St Peters rd. Go past the Inn and Bakery to the large parking lot on the left. We'll be doing about 2000 ft elevation, a cable bridge crossing and some stream crossings. Bring water, snack and light lunch.
