We are planning on recording tonight's talk by Sean Blanda as well as the Q&A session that is likely to follow but we don't have a tripod to mount the cameras on. If any of you have a tripod of any size (small, medium or large) please email me directly and let me know if you can bring it. We'd be much obliged.
Additionally, we've never had this high of an RSVP rate before (which is exciting!) so we're not 100% on how many pizzas to order (which is nerve-wracking!). It looks like we're going to order about 10 pies, so if you're looking to score a slice make sure you get there a bit early.
Also, I will be conducting a mini-session on the workflow I've been using to produce WordCamp Philly videos before the meeting. If you are interested in helping us blow through the last of the 2011 #WCPhilly videos, show up around 6:30. It may end up just being me and Brad, which is cool.
One final note on the venue:
The Colket building (CTRB) is located across the street from CHOP's main campus (which includes the Wood Building parking garage) and down the street from Penn's Perelman Center. It's right next to the giant construction zone, so they have the sidewalk closed down on that side. CTRB looks like this:
The entrance is at the far end of the building (i.e., furthest from Civic Center Blvd.) but someone should be standing out in front of the building to guide everyone in, just in case.
Thanks! As always, let us know if you have any questions.
