I actually had this job and left this job a week ago.
I'm coping and pasting the full job description below.

All of the websites this position has to manage are built in WordPress and hosted on WP Engine.
They are looking for a web developer with WordPress customization experience with graphic design and streaming support experience.

Job Qualifications: 

The Sr. Web Developer at the School of Media and Communication will design, develop, and maintain websites; including SMC and Temple cable television channel (TUTV), and other digital media including streaming video technology and managing content. Supports TUTV programming via new media including; Twitter, Facebook, and On Demand platforms. The Sr. Web Developer will be responsible for enhancing relevant websites and all related links, performing complete maintenance including editing content, formatting and posting text. Responsibilities will include supervision of Technical Support Specialists who assist in the development and maintenance of the TUTV media operations. Additionally, the Sr. Web Developer ensures the highest quality live streaming of TUTV programming and assists in audience interaction programs for TUTV. Performs other duties as assigned. 

 

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree and at least two years of directly relatedexperience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

 

 

Required Skills and Abilities:

*Extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, PHP.

*Demonstrated advanced web and print design experience using Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

*Extensive knowledge developing and managing websites on a Wordpress multisite platform.

*Ability to create and manage online forms.

*Good understanding of cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility.

*Demonstrated ability to maintain various social media platforms.

*Extensive knowledge in design layouts (experience in web design including email and newsletter design).

*Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

*Excellent analytical and problem solving skill; along with the ability to interact with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff.

 

 

Preferred:

*Experience working in new media with a television station or cable channel.

*Experience with live streaming solutions and standards.

*Creation of custom plugins.

*Experience working with graphical media to promote the mission of a university communications curriculum similar to SMC (e.g. film, television, radio, journalism, advertising, theater or strategic communications.
