I'm new to Philadelphia and would love to get out of the city for some hiking, paddling, climbing, skiing, whatever! Looking to meet others who share these interests and can show me the natural side of Pennsylvania.
I work at a gym in Center City, spend a lot of time working out there as well. I love to try new foods and beers, whether at a restaurant or cooking at home.

Spent two weeks hiking glaciers and climbing mountains in the Chugach Mountains near Anchorage with a eclectic group from New York. We went days without seeing another sign of human life, and it felt like we were the only people in the world.
I have been to most of the North American states and provinces, as well as France, Spain, Germany, Mexico, and Panama. My favorite place is the Northwest Rockies (Yukon/BC/Alberta/Alaska) because there is so much beauty that is virtually untouched.
Day hikes, multi-day backpacking/paddling trips, exploring, skiing, climbing (indoor or outdoor), limited budget

AHhh, didn't even see the discussion board! I havn't really used this site a whole lot. I'd rather do outdoor than GV, I just wasn't sure how to go about finding people...though
t that might be a place to start. I've only really climbed at High ROcks around here but I never see any people heading over there. Birdsboro looks fun though too!
Hey Dan, was anyone into doing Thurs afternoons at Go Vertical ? ALso, I saw you climb at High Rocks....are you planning to make a trip over there anytime soon?
Hi Dan, sadly no, I'm not free Thurs afternoons. I just have Tue and Thu mornings off work so I figured if you all could do a different morning, maybe I could join in. Schedules are so hard to coordinate!
Dan, was a pleasure climbing with you today. Look forward to climbing more.
