I'm a maintenance intern at Pendle Hill (a Quaker school/retreat center). Hobbies include ultra marathon running, yoga, hiking, back packing, hacky sack kickin, dance, contact improv, writing, studying natural history, neuroscience and biological anthropology. And I hope to add primitive skills and comedy writing to this list.... Needless to say, I sometimes spread myself out a little thin.
Hard to decide....I can't really. But I'll go with one of the best and most painful. Completing the Bear 100 mile mountain endurance run on my home turf in the Bear River Range in Utah and Idaho. Absolutely beautiful area that runs by a couple wilderness areas and ends with sweeping view of Bear Lake....one of the oldest most stable lakes in the country.
Just the U.S. Mexico and Canada so far. I recently did a trip down to North Carolina for a run Pilot Mountain...might be one of my new favorite places. Though travelin back up, I stayed at this place Yogaville, VA that may trump some of the others. Outstanding place. But I still haven't seen enough of the world to be choosing favorites.
Trail runs, hikes, back-packing trips, camp, and various walking tours of interesting places with interesting people.
Love the outdoors. New to the area, and lookin for places to run, hike, backpack, camp and tramp around.
