Acoustic OPEN MIC every Wednesday at The HeadHouse (122 Lombard St) - FREE

Friends - we'll be attending a new Acoustic Open Mic every Wednesday at The HeadHouse at 122 Lombard Street, Philly.  It showcases a lot of terrific local Artists and is a lot of fun.  Plus the food is very good & The HeadHouse boasts one of the strongest beer selections in Philly.

This OPEN MIC is for acoustic singers & musicians to perform solo or duo, plus hand drums & some jamming, with the focus being singer-songwriters.  If you are a musician or singer you are welcome to perform, and the rest of us will enjoy the live music and promise clap for you.

date: Every Wednesday Night

time: Artist sign-up starts at 8:30, music begins at 9pm

location: The HeadHouse
address: 122 Lombard Street, Philadelphia

cost: FREE to attend, FREE to perform

Sign-up to perform starts at 8:30pm in the main First Floor Bar on the left as you enter The HeadHouse.  The music will begin at 9pm.  There will be rotating musician hosts each week including: Rusty & Jan, Dave J, Hal Aaron, and Lee Allen & Kallie Smith.

Our MeetUp group is looking to support the Artist community of the Philly area by hosting this event.  This is a terrific way to meet & network with our Group plus enjoy a variety of musicians performing live.  Each musician will be performing up to 3 songs, and if you are a musician, please let us know.

The HeadHouse will be expending their Happy Hour specials every Wednesday from 6pm to 9pm if you & your friends want to come early and settle in before the Open Mic.  Also they will offer some food & drink specials during the Open Mic which we appreciate, and I hope to post the details of those soon.

If you have any questions please post them as "Comments" below and I will try to answer them as quickly as possible.

PARKING -- Btw, don't forget that this area where The HeadHouse is located has FREE STREET PARKING on Wednesdays after 5:30pm. Simply park in any legal street spot (NOT in front of fire hydrant, SEPTA bus zone, etc), and you do not need to put money in the meter or buy a ticket from the parking kiosks, its FREE on Wednesday night!

See you there!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
